George Washington Carver, was an artist as well as an agriculturalist, who invited artists, farmers, and educators to teach with him on a mobile farm wagon in order to sustain the culture of wellness and DIY creativity in Black communities.

Tiny Farm Wagon is a mobile art classroom, greenhouse/ gallery inspired by George Washington Carver. Through interdisciplinary art, we celebrate, preserve, and amplify the threads of wellness woven through Black life and culture. We know that a healthy creative ecosystem includes healthy Black artists and that this can be achieved through equity including higher pay, career development, and wellness practices (structural and personal) that combat artist burnout.

Annual series of signature public art presentations and workshops both in person and online that focus on the healing and regenerative aspects of Black Culture.

Garden Space

We maintain a small garden space where we teach, learn, grow, and create beauty. Connection to the land and eating healthy food are important to our wellness and an important part of Black cultural heritage. The space beautifies and creates green space for community events.

Let’s meet up in real life to share in the beauty of the natural world.
